Rev. Larry Leutwyler
Director of Bering Connect

Larry joined the Bering Connect staff in August 2011. As chaplain, he ministers to residents of Omega House, Bering Omega’s eight bed hospice. He also serves as chaplain to Bering Connect  members and ministers to those who are hospitalized and home-bound. He is a certified grief recovery specialist and leads grief recovery groups two or three times a year. Larry also serves on the staff of Bering Memorial United Methodist Church in the pastoral care area.

Twice a year, starting on the first Monday in March and the second Monday in September, we are proud to present The Grief Recovery Method® Outreach Program. This is an action program for moving beyond death, loss of relationship, and other losses including health, career, and faith. This program will be held at 1440 Harold, Houston, Texas.

The facilitator for this group will be, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Larry Leutwyler.

People say you have to let go and move on in your life; but, they don’t tell you what you need to do to accomplish that. This program not only makes that possible but provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens.

We feel privileged to bring this program to our community. If you have experienced significant loss, we highly recommend this eight week program. There is a fee involved; but, scholarships are usually available.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Larry Leutwyler at
